i think he'll re-sign with ny and have an opt out after year 3. if the knicks have a good roster he will stay and if they dont get their shyt together by then he'll bounce to a championship squad. no fans in ny could really hate him if its the same ol shyt 3 years from now, shyt most understand it now if he did it.

Could Washington realistically even have a shot at him? Outside of Chicago I actually don't hate that idea.

If we could get rid of Nene we could throw the 4 year max at him. Wiz would then have $29 million in cap room. Still would have $10 million+ in cap to fill out the roster. But with Nene on the books, we will have $17 million in cap room assuming the cap goes up to $62 million as rumored.

Ariza, Gortat, Booker, Harrington, Seraphin, and Singleton are all free agents. With Andre Miller probably going to be retained.

Wiz need front court depth moving forward though.

Would Melo sign for $17 million starting? Wiz would need to still find a big man or two to round out the roster. Signing Melo would require the Wiz to renounce all their free agents and lose bird rights.

I actually see that happening most out of all the scenarios.

nikkas putting together mad scenarios for they teams.

But But but Melo is a lazy ball hog chucker :russ:

That shyt deaded now huh

If you have all star caliber players esp ascending guy like Wall who is pass first, I have no problem with Melo in DC. He gets to the line and he can camp out for corner threes while Wall gets in the lane at will.

And Melo is a good rebounder and under a defensive first coach, :manny:

Thinking way outside the box, what about New Orleans?
What if they do something around Gordan and their 1st if they get to keep it for Melo

Jrue
Evans
Melo
Smith/Anderson
Davis

Young team. Jrue, Melo, Anderson, Davis spread the floor, so lane won't be clogged. Evans is great at the drive and kick and attacking the rim. That'd be a interesting team.

Wondering what the Kings could offer, but don't think they'd have the pieces to get it done.

I think it's either Chicago or back to New York. I cant see him realistically going to Miami (but then again I will never say never) and if he wants to win then Chicago makes the most sense for him. But Melo doesn't strike me as a guy who is obsessed with winning a title and I can see him back with the Knicks just because they can offer him the most money.
