Anyway, he dropped a bad ass debut album in 98' 'Capital Punishment'. Yeah Baby was an okay album. However, if he had a successful weight loss journey and survived I think he would have STILL continued breaking records. Dude was an elite lyricist.

Also, Fat Joe would have just been the number 2 guy. As much as I like Joe...Pun wrote most of his shyt and gave him a format.

Big Pun is 1 of the best lyricist of all time...
I had to go back and get some of his old shyt.... and it reminded me how much of a fan i was back in the day...
i remember not believing how he could spit so crazy... and id never heard rapping like that at that time...
He would murder todays type of beats

Pun himself before he passed that Yeeeah Baby was an attempt to branch out in order to reach a much wider audience. Wasn't supposed to be anything like Capital Punishment

we dont really know how much of Yeeeah Baby was really gonna be on his 2nd album either...it seemed like he was still working on the album when he died to me. It doesnt feel or sound like it was legit finished...

Yeaaah baby is a personal classic but that album is pretty damn lackluster...
