No artist can give an artist on their label a stimulus anymore. The industry doesn’t work like.

Label artist are not marketed like Crews and family which use to be a staple in hihop

Its certainly a hit but I guess I meant more like a smash hit. Like a top 10 billboard song that really makes him stand out like Panda did for desiinger(even though desiinger fumbled it).......from what I can tell dude really is 24, plenty of time left.

Wild thoughts, Shining and Work (not given to drake though) could have been tweaked to be hits for him.....there was that one 'IYRTITL' song Legend that people say sounds very PnD like too that might have worked for him as a solo artist but yeah, he just may not be built for it like that

I feel this is Drake's strategy to an extent get artist that are talented but not talented enough.(vocals,lyrics,feel one or more is missing). Like Quentin Miller is missing vocals and the "feel" but his lyrics are fire.
PnD is just missing the "feel". I think he needs a better stage presence and more hits but all his potential hits probably go to Drake Rhianna or Beyonce because he makes more./. bread that way. So he's stuck in a very weird place. I think his ceiling is a less talented Dream.

Legend is not a hit if PND puts that song out and it wasn’t really a hit for Drake just a classic intro

Yes Abel did give drake some of his best cuts the Take Care. This is historical fact

They were cool and Working together and Weeknd gave Drake a couple of songs because his album was in the process of being made. They fell out cause Weeknd took the bag instead of Waiting on the OVO imprint to launch

Abel himself in an interview said he gave Drake half of his what was to be his album for Take Care.

He's all over the background vocals on Take Care as well so it's obvious which tracks he was involved in.
