Where would Prime Charles Barkley rank today?

Barkley was the man....but I dont know how much his aggressive style of play and attitude would fit in with today's corporately controlled, look at someone the wrong way and get suspended for 6 games NBA.

Came in to post something like this, not sure he'd be allowed to have an impact today because his game was as much hustle/emotion/anger as talent/skill/work.

Other than that, def top 2 after Lebron given that Kobe is hurt

1. He's not a more efficient scorer when we measure by EFG or TS. Particularly in the Playoffs
2.lol at defense. Barkley is one of the worst defensive big men in history . It was his main drawback as a player
3. Barkley played in a tougher era for post defenses, but not overall team defenses. For example the current Grizzlies who Durant faced in the 2nd rd were as good or better then any team barkley faced in the playoffs
4. Yea Barkley's a better rebounder no argument

I don't see how he impacts the game more. His greatest strength is as a scorer and Durant is better there.

My favorite player ever is Shawn Kemp. Shawn owned Rodman, could even own Malone or even Hakeem most of the time. Barkley gave him the most problems. To say that Barkley is trash at defence shows to me that you have not seen him enough.

kemp saw Barkley more times due to Barkley been in the Western conference so i remember their games more..

I didnt say Barkley was an all time defender bruh, i wouldn't call him trash tho, no way. He was a good defender, he had great anticipation, smarts and was very athletic which helped him overcome his height.

He's a better defender than Durant in my eyes.

Plus barkley posted up guys like ewing, dream, d rob, mchale etc.. and had success against them
