I believe both parties are generally anti-labor, Republicans being directly against unions and the general American workforce, and the Democrats just being negligent at best.
He don’t got the boldness even if he wanted to do it, but if Biden DID carry it like Reagan, I feel like that would essentially kill the Democrat party.
Feels like the general framing of this amongst most people & politically (let the union starve the people) is why the labor force in general is at disadvantage. And is part of the reason why your original point that unions don’t got the juice has a lot of truth to it.

This ain't really about Amtrak. It's about the railroad strike. Amtrak isn't going to be the thing people are worried about if this strike happens. Store shelves will be bare. Don't think people realize how much stuff is on these trains.
