Which artist need a hit the most before their career is :flabbynsick:?

Weezy-
Last hit - 2013 "Rich as Fukk"
Reach the highest level that a rapper could, his fall has been just as fast.

50 Cent-
Last hit 2009- "Have a baby by me"
Reach Top Rapper Level in the early 2000s, has been trying to climb back since, unsuccessfully

Gucci Mane-
Last hit 2009 - Wasted
- Fresh out of jail, many routing for him. He needs a hit bad to capitalize.

Young Thug-
Last hit 2015 "Best Friend"
- Berth in the mist of the microwave rapper and hotpocket music, young artist have to deliver early and often. Though he had hit last year, his generation moves on very fast. On top of that, there are artist like Jacquees and others that don't mind using Young Thugs flow.

Young Jeezy
Last Hit 20011 "Lose My Mind"
- Once a top dog in Hiphop, has been pretty quiet in the club the past few year. Younger generations will begin not know who he is or was. Need a hit to show em.

T.I
Last Hit 2014 "All About the Money" featuring Young Thug
Another ex Rap King who needs a hit to stay relevant in a sport where there's really no retirement and fans are the most fickle. Young Thug has delivered TI one of the best song of 2014, Maybe it's time for another major collab.

Rich Homie Quan
Last Hit 2015 "Flex"
In the same boat as Thugga, his generation needs hits early and often or they will throw you away.

Not weezy he has been on top 10 hits since his last solo hit. And his reign on the top was long. Plus he's still getting booked for large shows and shyt. He does need to drop in 2016 though. Scared that no one will care if he waits any longer

50 washed as fukk. :mjlol:

Jeezy last album was terrible.

Quan been out since 2012 with no debut album or even a mixtape that's known. He's done.

TI will be fine. He's good for a solid album here and there.

Gucci new songs are fire so I honestly think he's good. Doubt he will get a major hit though but who knows.

Thug is talented but lyrically he sucks and he drops so much music and no one cares lol plus he flops each time. I still think he is gonna have a nice run.

Wayne is most likely to bounce back though

The Passage of Time
when you become an establish brand and making a hit isn't the goal, making music to sustain the brand is the only goal. Music is probably 1/4 of the brand y'all really need to reevaluate what is happening. The new guys need hits to build a brand, the old guard just need to make their brand sustainable and keep the interest in them and their overall brand i.e. TV/Film, Music, Endorsements and more. The more you think a guy is washed, then he shows up at concerts and signings with 1000's of people, I laugh at these coli nikkas who think it's just about the music for the old guard.

Quan...Fam on life support at this point

50/jeezy/tip/Gucci have all hit their peak. But they still have core base to fall back on

Thugga will be straight. Even if he doesn't t blow up the way Lyor is planning he makes good music & is more relevant than everyone on the list musically speaking

Side note: RHQ introspective insight mixed with Thugga charisma is what made Rich Gang so potent

Shyt was basically Clipse all over again minus the lyrical ability with much better production
