Which buyer took the hardest L, once the manufacturer switched to a new bodystyle?

Fresh looking grill, upgraded headlights, side molding, back 100% less wide. Even now, I bet some of those owners are like :mjcry: when looking back on it.

Bruh I never knew that first Escalade existed till this thread, lo and behold i see one in person yesterday. Literally had the :heh: face

:usure:This is common knowledge. Everyone I've ever known that's owned an Explorer regretted it.

Transmission problems in Ford Explorers are one of the most commonly complained about issues of any car on the road. With a typical repair cost over $2,000 it's easy to see why owners are so upset. One dealer even claims that 1 out of every 10 Explorer's from the early 2000 model years will have transmission failure at some point.

Ford makes garbage cars period, no two ways about it!

I may be about to take one.

Got my wife a 2015 pilot. Asked when the body style change was coming ... they said '17 or '18 (and the internet didn't seem to know).

Nope. The '16 is coming out completely different. Better technology by miles ... luckily, I prefer the looks of the '14-15. The new one looks like a minivan or every other crossover-suv.

But, the world may see it as an L, so that's fine.

People have to do their research as the dealers usually aren't going to tell potential buyers if a brand new model is arriving because they're still trying to sell the current year cars already on the lot. Also there are specific car forums which have a wealth of information & particular details from company insiders or well-connected enthusiasts that pinpoint when a all new model will be released, sometimes usually a few years in advance.

the SUV market has been oversaturated for the longest time now.
the Durango never really had a chance with SUV's like the Grand Cherokee, Explorer, Tahoe, etc... running the show.
I rarely see any on the road.
