MVP was on underground/college radio several months before "One More Chance" remix came out. Everyone on the DITC side feels like Bad Boy bit the sample. I'm inclined to believe them.
It's sad that they tried to one up Bad Boy with that sappy remix. I couldn't rock with that at all.

Cool, thanks for posting that. Have to rely on a lot of regional cats for that type of info.

I just can't believe that...I'm guessing Puff/hitmen heard Big L's and did their remix. I, like most outside of NY heard Big's version first and was disappointed when I got his album and that version was not on it lol. But I'm guessing they had to have heard it and then jacked it

Gave Puff a copy of that "MVP" / Then "One More Chance" was on his next CD,damn

Aside from that corny ass chick singing the hook, I prefered the remix to the original as well. I understand why they remixed it. I dont doubt Bad Boy biting since Puff made a career out of biting sh*t, but there's no way L's album version was gonna blow. And I doubt the decision to remix it had much if anything to do with Bad Boy.

So alllllll the other times it happened it was by chance, but they definitely bit on this occasion... like they were sitting there listening to BIG L's album and thinking it would be the guide to continuing their hit-making formula?

Sir,I never said all those other times were by coincidence



it is VERY EASY to bite a sample, you don't think Cube bit Melle? You don't think puff bit cube?


There's no way of knowing, but Bad Boy was bad in many ways. I don't believe for a second that they didn't hear Big l sample it first.
