Nipsey because of the hope he was inspiring in a much needed space.

The fact that the culture didn't carry on his work. People cry for leaders and for those that make it to look back and when people do they don't follow the lead. I don't see the legacy of his work around the culture.

I'm sure his kids would prefer if they had left Crenshaw behind and their father was still here. Hip hop culture is trash and whatever hope for change exists within it is not sustainable if people are not willing to shift the culture. We don't deserve people like Nip, if you make it save yourself don't look back unless it's from afar :yeshrug:

DMX

Erm & Kobe really hit me because I had spoken to both of them a few weeks before they passed. MJ and DMX were really sad for me because they were reminders of my childhood.

1. Nipsey- I was a fan of his outside of just the music. They way he moved and wanted better for his community. He motivated me to get up off my ass and get to it. I legit cried when he died.

Kobe - I mean he was Kobe… I wasn’t a huge fan but damn I respected his drive.. his hunger to be great. I legit couldn’t even believe it.. then when I accepted it I broke down
