MJ and Kobe of course. But one that hit me kinda hard was Prodigy from Mobb Deep. That was the first rapper who I was a fan of that didn’t die in their peak other than Sean Price. But Mobb Deep was the soundtrack to a lot the running of the streets I was doing in my teens and 20s. It was like we came up together so it felt like losing a friend

totally forgot about prodigy. I was blindsided by that one cuz him being sick was a normal thing for him and we always thought he'd be ok like he typically was.

Kobe's death felt surreal and I wasn't even a huge fan of his, which sucks because I later found out how great of a person he was.

Kobe death really felt like some alternate reality. Still feels weird.

Seeing all the players reaction and his funeral was more sad than the actual day he died.

XXX death was sad because he had so much potential and the youth was really looking up to him

Michael Jackson and Kobe Bryant death really had me sad for weeks. :mjcry: MJ's death had earth stop rotating because it caught everyone off guard and Kobe's death had basketball fans in a huge state of profound sadness.
