Would you prefer your favorite artist to have one producer for an album like Dre for chronic and rza for 36 chambers or a dream team of producers like NaS had for illmatic?

As much as I love the idea for a NaS/preemo album, I gotta go with the dream team. You can still have a cohesive album plus you can add variety to it. Just give the team of producers an idea of what you want and they'll tailor it to the artists needs. But each producer will have a variation of what you want than the other producers. Give me some no id, justice league,Dre,kanye,etc..all on one album that the same sound for the whole album.Also. I think the artist would put more effort in it since he doesn't do a bunch of songs with that producer. He'd want to make it count since there wont be many chances.

One producer. No question. That also includes people like Da Beatminerz and DJ Paul & Juicy J who make beats together. I'd rather have that than a album produced by whoever's hot at the time.

I grew up listening to Public Enemy, Wu-Tang, Boot Camp Clik, Three 6. Because of that I generally prefer one producer projects or a small team of producers handling the whole project.

i prefer for someone to have a proper fukking a & r, which these days no one really does anymore.

Word, because the a&r is who i hear on my headphones :comeon:

If there is a solid in house producer, then singular...there just arent enough good producers to support an album. Swizz is an example; he makes good songs and hits...but ask cassidy if you want him to produce your whole album.
