What was the comment he made?

basically told me he didint know me and just because i know a certain somebody doesnt entitle me to ask him what he felt was a personal question. I just sort of apologized and told him i meant no harm and was cool about it. I have good reason not to upset that dude because he is connected to someone who is VERY important to me. I just shut my mouth and said sorry.

I think I'm gonna alter my answer to a couple producers. 2 or 3 is enough for diversity and it will help keep the flow of the album going instead of a bunch of them. The only way I want just one is if its two goats like a Jay/Dre dream LP collabo.

You have never made an album. I have produced 5, with 3 of them shelved, one i gave away for free and i have one indie deal that is being a & r'd as we speak by the label that signed my one off project.

Im going off that experience.

I always see you saying coherent things, so you're a producer? Makes sense now.

Got any links to your music?

Thats what i am basing my opinion on, and as you can see, others support that. Im not trying to throw my weight around, but you are sitting here from a perspective of someone who doesnt know what or who goes into making an album. Im speaking from experience.

A & Rs are VERY VERY important, a good one can make or break an album moreso than any mc or producer.

To expand on this before bad boy was created, look at how many different careers:takedat:helped. He was making stars long before he raped their pockets.

I prefer quality albums...

But, I find that most of the albums I think are classics have one producer, e.g. 36 Chambers, Hard to Earn, Low End Theory, Funcrusher plus, Train of Thought, Madvillainy, Deltron, 12RTD (already!), etc. (list goes on and on)

The only albums with a dreamteam I really like are Illmatic, Be (Dilla & Kanye!), Black on Both Sides and Good Kid mAAd City (not really a dreamteam though). This is just from the top of my head though.

There are more albums that fit my taste with one producer than with a dreamteam. I guess that's hard to pull off well...

Props on the link bro, will check it out tomorrow. Nah you don't come across as a know it all, just knowledgeable.

I saw you were working with C Bo and G Unit, do you have any music you produced from that period or can you expand on what happened at all? I was hyped for a few of those Cashville records albums until everything fell to pieces.

I was more closely affiliated with Killa Tay than C-Bo, however the G-Unit and Cashville thing was trickling my way so i got to have a few run ins with some of those cats. But sadly by the end of 2007 it was already falling apart. I was producing for killa tay, a cat named Dobad The Assailant (who was like a brother to me) and some others, the idea was that these guys would potentially join C-Bo at cashville, obviously we know what happened. There is way more to it than that but i dont want to say i was affiliated with g-unit, but i was definately going to play a major role in some production areas of cashville affiliates.

Thats all i really care to talk about as far as that goes, if you want to hear some of the stuff i did ill upload it later but the verses for those cashville dudes and a few others, i dont have the pro tool files or the rough mixes, they were in a studio that i no longer have access too because one of the guys who ran it is dead. Im telling you, things fell completely apart in 2008 and i left music from 09 to late 2012

A group of producer i look at commons album like water for chocolate and
he had Jay dee do most of the work in songs like the light and thelonious
then jay dee came together with the roots d angelo questlove and james poyser
for songs like time travelin and cold blooded

Then he had premier produce one great track in the 6th sense

And had kareem riggins produce pops rap III

i Feel if you have a small group of people the works towards your skill set you will get a better sound or more ideas than just you and one person working together :yeshrug:

I gotta go with having a couple of producers making a cohesive project. Even tho one producer albums can be great, I do like hearing a good artist painting over multiple canvases. Most of the time if an artist does the ome producer thing, they will do it differently just to keep it fresh.
