Yes, nikka. Rasheed had HoF talent. He could have been Duncan or Garnett if he cared.
The LEAST. The LEAST. Which means a player who did the least amount, given their talent. Beasley is a good example, because he was touted as a once in a generation type of player, yet didn't do a thing in the league and was out of it within four seasons....... now this nikka milk carton status somewhere in Zhujiajiao Water Town.

The way I see it, the Lakers don't win those championships without Lamar Odom, and he brought something to the table that I don't think you would have gotten out of any other role player out there. Lamar was a special talent, he ended his career disgracefully but to call him a failure from a basketball perspective is flat out unfair when you look at guys like Mike Beasley, Starbury, and Josh Smith

Yeah, as a role player who had MOMENTS in those runs but unforgettable moments. HE was gong to be the NEXT Magic, a 6'10" dude that could stretch the floor. He was going to be Dirk. A team anchor. He was never the best player on any team.

'Sheed was still instrumental in winning a chip and made all-star teams. And (despite his reputation as a walking Technical) he beasted back in his Portland Trailblazer days when they would be perennial contenders in the Western Conference.

The hell are you smoking?

Its hard to say he underachieved because he was such a great 2 way player...But his talent level....:lawd: makes it seems like he should have Barkley\Malone type numbers or something

If you look at his stats alone and then consider the talent he had, I would say he underachieved. He definitely could've been a sure-fire HOFer. Even still, he was a fantastic 2-way player and he got his recognition and respect (fans, pundits, ASGs). Plus he won a chip. And while he may not be first-ballot, he still has a shot at the HOF.

I don't see him being the biggest waste of talent.

He's not nearly as much of a fukk up as other guys mentioned though which is why I can't co-sign

even when he was in the league though he didnt do much.

:lupe:

I thought he got sick middle of his rookie season..

I could be wrong..My mind getting bad...

One thing's for sure, I had only seen a handful of players that had the potential to score from anywhere like him...He scaled it back in Louisville and you can still see he was toying with cats out there..
