Number 2 and 3 guys on teams that ain never won shyt are somehow "under pressure" :mjlol:

What the fukk is Jalen Williams doing on this list :mjlol:

Simple: if OKC loses, what's everyone gonna ask for? A "real" 2nd option. Well, Jalen's about to get a max deal this summer, but if they come up short and he's a big reason why, then any team that has that better 2nd option will just ask for him in a return. Shai has more pressure because he'll win MVP and OKC's the best team and so on, but I don't think anyone believes Shai's gonna have crappy games.

Just cuz you're the 2nd or 3rd guy doesn't mean you're immune from pressure. If anything you become the expendable piece that everyone will want moved for the piece that might fix the team.

Now that you mention it, Jarrett Allen should be on the list too. Why? Whenever he gets into the playoffs, he turns into a bytch. Cleveland can't win it all if he doesn't face his postseason demons. He can't wuss out.

My point exactly lol

One is enough for him. Someone that people say top 10 and the best center ever

Thanks for proving my point lol

Shaq still get dinged because people think he should won more

He played with two top 25 players along with being top 10 himself

Is your point still warming up? :russ:

No players on this list are under pressure this year other than maybe Luka, but the absence of that elusive big/center/power forward this year will prevent the lakers from being a contending threat and from doing serious damage in the playoffs, so for this season the championship aspirations and expectations are tempered when it comes to the lakers .

And there’s no core of players this year who are under pressure to finally deliver and win a chip unlike the Brown/Tatum duo on Boston last year. Bron and curry are veterans and both first ballot hall of famers who already got multiple championship rings and have nothing left to prove anymore. Tatum, Jokic, and Giannis all already won NBA championship titles recently in this decade. No one who seriously follows the Association actually expects injury-prone, immature and inconsistent Ja Morant to take the grizzlies to the promised land. Mitchell almost always goes under the radar as people rarely talk about him anyway. Just like the Cavs don’t make the headlines often despite maintaining dominance over the league. For some reason the media and casuals aren’t interested in them. Brunson is not under scrutiny but the Knicks team as a whole are. You simply can’t lose in the first round to the Pistons, Pacers or Bucks. Unacceptable. And another second round elimination for the third straight season would be disappointing again.

But some teams are more under pressure than others to go much deeper in the playoffs, maybe the Cavs and the Knicks in the East and even though they’re a young squad in their second year of championship contention, all eyes are on the Thunder in the West. They have to win because they may never have the opportunity to have another chance again. And they have to win before the eventual salary increases. I guess Cavs/Knicks fans expect their squads to finally reach the ECF.

I wouldn’t say most pressure but if Jalen or Chet no show again and OKC underperforms, I could see either of them in some Giannis trade rumors

Nobody wants them but the same thought process applies to Murray and MPjr.

I could see Thibs’ run with the Knicks coming to an end if they get packed up in round 1 or swept by Boston in round 2.

Donovan Mitchell has as much talent as nearly any explosive combo guard of the last 30 years… but everytime we think he’s arrived.. he fukks up in the playoffs. This is his magnus opus

If Ivica Zubac leads the Clippers to a championship, he skyrockets into the top 115 goat debate. Maybe top 105 :hubie:
