Let's be logical. Most people aren't going to override their instincts of self preservation for a stranger in hazardous circumstances especially if they have families who care about/depend on them or they're in a hurry and risk causing another accident trying to stop in the rain and help.

honestly, whether or not i stop to help depends on several factors.

am i on my way to work?i'm not going to risk my livihood when you can just call AAA,

does the accident look serious? i'll risk it if i feel like i'm saving a life. if its just minor fender bender, again call triple a.

do you have offensive bumper stickers on your car? i'll let karma do its thing if you wanna drive around protesting against BLM or some bs.

i'll give an example. a group of girls once crashed in front of me. the car was on fire and still running. they were sitting in there looking clueless. I stopped. Took the keys out to shut off the car and gave it to them, then escorted them a safe distance and waited for an ambulance with them.

i'll stop to save a strangers life. but i'm not here to comfort randoms just because they are having a bad day.

:yeshrug: most people are not stopping in the rain.

She should just be thankful she's not hurt. No one owes you anything.
it depends on the situation she got hit by a semi and not dead so the car probably slightly bumped it.

Why didn’t the truck driver stop? Truckers have more equipment than a random driver would have.

I don't believe anyone should stop for her, for one particular reason. She is on her phone complaining about how no one is helping her, how her child is in the car with her, and she trying to squeeze out those tears. Yet, she has a phone in her hand, she can call emergency services. She should be concerned with the wellbeing of her child after that accident, not with getting off a viral video of her crying about no strangers helping her after the accident.

The crying was fake, the concern was misplaced, and her actions in her circumstances make no sense. If the first impulse after a problem is to cry on the internet for views, instead of seeking solutions to the problem, then I have no sympathy.

I would've tried to help her for some p*ssy. Can't be worse than dudes going to the hood with thugs standing at the door.:manny::mjgrin:

The Truth
A lot of thoughts on this…

First… she was under the damn semi :dahell:

How is that even possible. Was the semi hit too? It kept driving?

And then, call the police woman. They should be dispatching and damn near there by now.

I’m mixed on if people should’ve stopped. Like damn… fukk all whats going on in your life and see if someone is not hurt or dead.

I do understand that people are followers… literally a herd mentality especially in traffic. So the people who probably witnessed it kept going then everyone kept going (if there was even traffic or people around to see it).

Some people might’ve just thought it’s another car pulled off to the side of the road like you see out here everyday… sometimes because its storming too hard to see. And it also might’ve been safer to not stop. These people aren’t superheroes… tf could they have done now that we know she’s safe.

I guess the biggest issue I have is that this chick decides to hop online to tell the world her sob story of a car accident and no one giving af instead of calling at least friends.. family… or the police:dahell:
