I don't get why this thread has descended into chaos.
I have a day job and can afford both consoles.
I am
100% def getting a Nintendo Switch
but the second console was a toss up between PS4 Pro and X1X.
From the valid points made by all of you I have decided to wait until after the Sony E3 expo to either get a PS4 Pro at the same time as the Switch in the next two weeks or get the rumoured PS4 Pro 2.0/Slim with native 4K later this year.
I can't justify having all three consoles. I am not buying both consoles just to play FIFA or any AAA multiplatform game when I stated previously that for these type of games I will bootleg on PC via the FitGirl Repack scene releases that are single player orientated and don't need online. I'll be fine with FIFA 18/19 and Skreet Fighter at 1440p if that is the case on a 4K TV after 10 minutes the gimmick of high resolution wears off anyway.
I won't get an X1X because my PC that I built in 2012 has been able to natively play all of my games at 4K for free which is why I haven't needed a new current gen console but EA Origin and Steam's multiplayer has steadily gotten worse since then and so it's time to move on. The lack of easily accessible basic features like VOIP, text messages, seeing what friends are online and the choppy network in general is the straw that broke Jay-Z's back.

It's simple enough -- yes, but not intuitive like it is on consoles.
PS4 Pro seems like the better option with slightly less power but it is not something you'll care about after the novelty wears off in 30 minutes of gameplay.
The main thing was the online community and since they are on par or there about the PS4 has better exclusives that appeal to me personally.
Thanks everyone for helping me to decide
