I swear it took me close to forever to beat the elite four in those games, no joke. That's probably because I made the dumb decision of choosing Turtwig as my starter the first time around. Then, I just restarted the game just to get a Chimchar. I eventually won that with that.

I disagree with Garchomp being OP nowadays, if anything he's easier to kill now than ever. Prior to Gen 6, I'd agree with you, but his mega evolution cut down his speed by a pretty sizable amount in my opinion. Then there's the fact that there's all these weaknesses to Dragons nowadays.

I definitely agree with you on these games being dumbed down though. You'd think they'd be way harder with all these new things being added to the game.
Definitely. I've been trying to build a team with garchomp. And looking back i now see garchomps stats I overshot my statement. And the gen 6 games Need a battle frontier

that's the newest eevee evolution. A fairy type. It beats fighting and dark types. and dragon types. Weak to steel and poison. This made steel Pokemon useful

Agreed on that. And to add to what I said about Gen 4 been difficult, they should add back that feature they had in Heartgold/Soulsilver where you could re-challenge the Gym Leaders and the Elite Four, but they're Pokemon would be way stronger.

If you ask me, I'd never build a team with Garchomp or Salamence. They're probably the two of the most overrated and overused dragons in the game. They're so easy to kill or neutralize. I'd use something like Noivern or Hydreigon. Noivern has that ungodly speed and a pretty great special attack. Hydregion's special attack is ungodly, has levitate, pretty decent speed, and a unique typing. The only real flaw with Hydregion is how easily it can be killed by a fairy, but then so can most dragons.

I want to use noivern. But I'm unsure on the nature. I'm building the move set. So far I have 2 greninjas I built. Timid and jolly. I also have a mega blaziken, thanks to qr codes and infernape. I also have 980 ability capsules. I'm going to try out hydregion.
They need a fairy/dragon type.

Already exists.

Noivern is essentially a fast special sweeper, so your best bets are either modest nature (Boosts special attack, decreases regular attack) or timid nature (Boosts speed, decreases attack). I'd recommend a modest nature. Noivern's speed level is pretty high to begin with so you don't need all of that speed, save some for your attacks. I invested most of my time trying to beef up it's special attack and speed. My move-set is Heatwave, Hurricane, Draco Meteor and Boomburst. These are all have pretty powerful attacks, so I know they'll do what I need them to do when necessary. I also gave my Noivern a wide lens for added insurance that my moves will always hit my opponent's Pokemon.

Hydreigon is basically the reverse of Noivern. You should give it a timid nature and train it in special attack and speed as well. My move-set is: Flamethrower, Earth Power, Flash Cannon (for the fairies), and Dragon Pulse.

As far as fire types go, Arcanine is my go-to Pokemon for that. His stats are pretty well-balanced all around.

My mega is Blastoise. Mega Blastoise is a super tank. With its mega launcher ability, all you go to do is add "pulse" moves to it and it gives those attacks an extra boost in damage. The mega evolution pretty much brings it's defense and special defense capabilities to a whole new level. You'd be hard pressed to kill this thing in one shot.

Damn though let that nikka breathe. :russ:I'll admit he isn't even In my top 3 water starters. Swampert was my absolute favorite. The only way empoleon has worked for me was I maxed out his defense and special attack. Empoleon was the worst out of those 3. And I just loved water starters. Empoleon had bad typing. Infernape was fire. I'll admit. He made shyt hectic. Garchomp is OP now. Especially since mega evolutions. Same with Gardevoir.this generations game felt dumbed down. It should have. Been harder. Now all these normal type Pokemon are fairy types. And that shyt shook everythin .
I would say Greninja is my favorite after Blastoise, followed by Samurott. Garchomp was the first pseudo-legendary Dragon I ever used. I stumbled onto the Wayward cave by accident and HAD to have a dragon ever since. There's way too many megas these days. I'd probly say that's what turned me off from playing the Omega and Alpha remakes. The thing that made X and Y too easy imo was the exp share. I've never been a fan of that item so I never used it. As much as people dislike Yellow I enjoyed increased difficulty and the fact that u weren't gunna just walk into Sabrina or Koga's gym after Erika's without grinding a lil bit. And u def ain't lying about the fairy type shaking things up. But luckily they didn't make them OP. Just balanced out the dragon dominance.

Honestly they need to give people the option of setting a normal or hard difficulty by default. Like they did with black 2 and white 2. I miss grinding in these Pokemon games. Especially on the gold version. Which I'm gonna play later. I have diancie. The legendary fairy type. I've been on a roll with it. It has pokerus too. Fairy types gave steel types a purpose. Steel types were the robin of Pokemon. Then fairy types gave it a purpose. Now every type is being used. I really want to get a good dragon type. I have a goodra. And I've been trying to add people to get a ditto friend safari. shyt is annoying.

I just built up a tank torterra. Just massive defense. I have a blastoise with rain dish. And I give my Pokemon pokerus to ev train in under 10 mins. Pokerus and a power item gives you 60 ev per horde battle

That was some bullshyt too because u had to have beaten the game and have someone send u a key from another copy of the game:martin:.
Storywise those black/white games were the best in the series, which is probly why I didn't care much for X/Y's. Where did u get Diancie from? U just playing X/Y recently or still from when it came out? This was the only gen I have no desire of replaying but I will play Z whenever it comes out. Goodra is pretty solid I used one.

wonder trade is where you put up any pokemon for trade and the server finds a random trainer who put up a pokemon and you both automatically trade. its completely random trading. so you could get a shytty pokemon or a legendary if you wanted to. i got a shiny scizor

My problem with megas is the fact that Gamefreak is primarily giving megas to popular Pokemon instead of the ones who need it. Case in point, why give Salamence, Garchomp, or any legendary a mega evolution? They all are already overpowered to begin with.

There is usually a lot of good Pokemon given out on Wednesdays. That's because a lot of YouTubers who play Pokemon give stuff away, so people are more likely to trade good stuff.
