Cam played him on some kindergarten na na na na na shyt and Curtis was really hurt about it! I never ever heard another man defend his government name so vehemently in my life! :laff:

None of this matters if 50 kept dropping hits and relevant music in general. For example Camron dissed 50, he named his album curtis and it was a massive success. Cause the nikka had hits like I get money and the joint with justin timberlake.

50 has always been the same dude, the difference is in 2003 you couldn't say shyt to him because everything he touched blew up

lol Kanye did it without even trying. He wasn't even out for blood, did no disses, just did his thang.

50 made it into some huge big deal and when he lost he looked like an idiot.

I love me some 50 right but this was worse than any of his actual battles with other rappers.

The main reason it was so bad is because 50 used to brag and talk a lot of shyt about his sales.

In other words his ego was the reason; not kanye.

50 one of my favorite rappers of all time, I grew up with that nikkaz music, shyt was tough... like

:whew:

But then what did him in was no one else than himself... He could not reinvent himself, and you have to be able to so and get with the times and the new sounds in hip hop if you wanna stay at the top...

Also the fact that he tried to blackball half the industry prolly stopped him from connectin' with upcomin' artists who may have helped him rejuvenate his style...

His ego prolly still stoppin' him from realizin' this, but well that's the way he is and truthfully I respect it :obama:

Cam and Ross.

Kanye and his "battle" was scripted to generate interest.

The majority of the nikkas on that poll's interactions with 50 only mattered on the internet. His beef with Ja is the only beef he's ever had that had real, undeniable mainstream repercussions. The average fan knows about the Game and Ross beefs, and maybe heard about his beefs with the rest. 50 fell off because of himself and Kanye. His music was getting stale. But the nikka on top doesn't go away unless there's somebody there to replace him. Kanye beat 50 at the one thing he's always made it known was most important: sales. Kanye winning showed that not only was the public behind somebody else, but they were behind a different type of music. All the other shyt is just forum fodder.

Biggest contributors to the fall off is Kanye and 50 himself.

To the guy who said Camron did nothing cause 50 named his album Curtis and it was a massive success...
Sales dropped from 12 mill (grodt) to 10 mill (massacre) to just 3 mill (Curtis).
You saying 7 mill lost in 2 years is a huge success?
If the Cam beef didn't happen would things have been the same?
