It depends, you say genius but a lot of rappers that have been named are "smart", as in they know a lot about the world. Like canibus, rza, etc. I'd say Pac, Kendrick, and Jay Electronica are geniuses in the sense where they would probably score over 150 on a standardized IQ test, they're intelligent, they're knowledge is metaphysical not chinese history or particle theories.

Nas is very observant and a great storyteller but no...Lupe is quasi-intelligent...Jay is a good businessman and knows people well...not too many geniuses.

Just to name a few. All can rhyme (Dre though), write, produce, arrange, make hits for others, carry other rappers, and DJ. Any of these dudes can master writing or producing if they chose to focus solely on one thing. Back to Dre, he may not be a dope rapper but he can rap good enough.

I'm not certain what sort of genius we're trying to define here
but I think we certainly have some artists within Hip Hop that we could say exhibit Genius

With that said I'm certain there are more artists that qualify for genius.
