So songwriting (Or in the case of rap penning rhymes) in and of itself isn't a talent that you can be a genius at? And not to mention that ther aspects of rapping like flow and delivery and whatnot.

I can understand facepalming guys like 2Chainz and to an extent Jay, but how can you say that Nas isnt a genius, after what he was able to do from a young age?

I'm not so sure about Kendrick being a genius...he is pretty innovative and talented though...

Kanye and RZA can definitely be considered musical geniuses. They see things in a beat that the average person doesn't. Nas as far as words is also a genius in the musical sense of the world. Maybe Pac too with his swiftness in making good quality music.
