As for a whole state... per capita i don't see anyone fukking with Lousiana. Im partial to Florida as well but idk if its necessarily the best quality.

I feel like Cajun, Creole is the best original/american/regional food this country has to offer.
Everything else is more about the number of food options that they have imported from other places rather than any culinary innovations that they have themselves contributed to the world (#NYC saying they have everything, but the most original new york food is what?Hotdogs are from Germany, Pizza Italy, etc etc, What did new york create, Waldorf salad? ) No different from london having shytty food except for what the immigrants over there make.

i will say oklahoma has some awesome mexican food. they come right up I-35 lol. i cant even remember the last time i had bad mexican food.

kansas city, texas, and north carolina (i like both western and eastern styles) have the best bbq in my opinion

i wish we had more indian restaurants. dot, not feather. my favorite indian spot went under because of covid. the only other nearby indian place is run by whites. the food isnt bad just a little bland
