They can defend from the water n maybe form a uneasy alliance with SC/VA.

Sc would align with Georgia before they align with nc, and since nc beat Georgia ass before, Georgia would be glad for the payback

New Mexico would align with Texas but for our own independence, we would take Arizona and pieces of Nevada and Utah have the rest.

It wouldn’t make sense for all the states to battle royal themselves. They’re going to form blocks because they know individually they can’t compete with bigger more resource rich states.

NE block (NY,MS,NJ,PA, Maine, CT, Delaware)
Southern block (VA, NC, SC,GA,FL)
Texas would probably go it alone
Midwest
Pacific ( Cali, Oregon, Washington, Nevada , AZ and maybe Utah)

This case NE block wins it.

I agree that it would be blocks, but I think there would probably be a mid Atlantic block consisting of VA MD DE and NC. Even though it doesn’t have the sheer landmass it would still be tough to beat. Good combination of agriculture, military infrastructure and varied terrain.

I also wanted to point this fact out. Cali and NY have other countries involved in their land. I believe Quater actually owns buildings in Manhattan. Not sure that those middle eastern guys would be happy about their real estate being threatened.


They might back up NY and China might get try to back up Cali/west coast.

Plus New York has access to the Great Lakes. Illinois controls the bread basket of America and controls the access point between the Gulf of Mexico and the Great Lakes via the Mississippi. An alliance with Illinois and Michigan would make New York solid.

Why would you think shipments would stop? Hawaii has a big international population. It could easily make alliances with other APAC counties and get it's shipments from them.
