If you examine the history of wars it’s always the richest colony who prevails most of the time.


Poorer and less resourceful colonies for the most part are all talk. NYC has so much money it could influence the south to turn on eachother for the right price.


I could easily see Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky the Virginia’s turning on the rest of the south if I gave them an offer they can’t refuse

True that would be a major problem for Texas...potentially crippling.

Texas has more wind power than anyone else so they'd have to ramp that up.

A bunch of states sharing a grid is a weakness though and if TX exploits that...a bunch of states are in trouble and none have the flexibility of significant investment in alternative energy like TX.

Feel like the south would naturally team up.

New York, PA and Jersey would pair up but I'm not sure about the other states up there. DMV would align but would they join NY/PA/NJ.....or fight them?
