Personally Super Nintendo had a wider variety, and great exclusive games like zelda, mario, contra, etc, a serious library of adventure games. But Sega Genesis ruled with sports games, oh yeah and the first Mortal Kombat since it had blood, but even so super nintendo had the better graphics...

Very True and I agree.

I was too young to even give a fukk... Both systems were EPIC back then if you started playing games on the Atari and NES..

Yes indeed. I had owned both and I like both of them.

bah...Altered Beast was the free game that came with the system when it first came out :beli:

Anyone remember Sega CD. you were boss status if you had that.

Neogeo made you Kingpin

All u lil niccas don't know, but this was circa 1991

I always like the Sega C.D. and the Neo Geo. Dope Systems 4 reals.

I had both and loved both. First I got snes then got sega.

Dreamcast is my sh!t and Dreamcast was the first "Online".

I had own a Dreamcast and the system is underrated 4 reals.

I had both systems with the Sega CD too..

Sega was better though, Road Rash>>>>>>>>>

Sega CD piff I had

:mindblown:

It broke the Christmas I got Earthworm Jim for it:to:

Road Advenger is the best game to me on the Sega C.D. and Road Rash and Earthworm Jim are great and classic.

This is nostalgic.

For me, it depends on the game because we had both at home when I was a kid.

Sega: International Superstar Soccer (I knew all the cheat codes on Sega but interestingly they didn’t work on Super Nintendo).

Super Nintendo: Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and Super Mario World. Super Nintendo also had better graphics.

Funnily enough, I bought some Chinese console on ebay last year that has all the old school games and I play some of the games sometimes to relive childhood memories, lol.

Had an SNES but remember them being neck and neck. We used to say that the Genesis was for the sports game but SNES had the fighting games on lock.

SNES. But Sega was better for Street Fighter in particular, along with MK and the sports games. I had sega when I was older, SNES when I was younger. So fonder memories are attached to the SNES.

The SNES is the GOAT console, IMO. It had classic games for days.

Super Mario World
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy 4 and 6
Super Metroid
Super Mario RPG
Mega Man X 1-3
Castlevania 4
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Yoshi's Island
Donkey Kong Country 1-3 (Especially 2)
Contra 3
Turtles in Time
Super Mario Kart
Earthbound
Secret of Mana
Lufia 2
Killer Instinct
Tetris Attack
Super Mario All-Stars
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
UN Squadron
Illusion of Gaia
Wild Guns

^Such a dope lineup :ohlawd:

Not having to buy new controllers for Street Fighter 2 :blessed:

Even the fan-translated Japan exclusives are crack. Dragon Quest 3 and 5, Seiken Densetsu 3, Terranigma, the Fire Emblem games, etc. :wow:

And to be fair to the Genesis, that console had piff too. Phantasy Star IV, Gunstar Heroes, Shining Force 2, Streets of Rage, Sonic 1-3 and Knuckles :myman:
