That second video frustrating me, she really asked him how Trayvons murder affects Jesse in his day to day.
I know fam im thinking someone shouldve :pacspit: right in her face live on cnn
I remember reading a book about the reconstruction era recently and its funny how a lot of the shyt that people think are new issues are often the same issues just on a different level....history basically just seems to repeat itself over and over again....People in power can continue to use the same tricks on people by using the majoritys ignorance of history, you cant combat what you don't see coming....No wonder people who can convey the truth and actually reach the masses always get killed or die....Something about the universe really don't want the world to change so it rids the world of people who can:mjcry:
You ain't lying fam shyt hasn't changed much at all, and now it's even harder to notice since many of our preceived successful brothers and sisters are puppets who won't rock the boat.

Shame that a non-mix black man with his same influence doesn't have balls enough to do half of what he does. They have all turned new black. So much wrong, yet no one wants to address it or fix it. Just accept and keep it moving until we all are thrown back in Jim Crow.

He's incredibly intelligent and I love how he doesn't hesitate to drag people who try to come for him over tweets. His Twitter is a gem. Here's another great video of him speaking

I'm proud of him. Wish there were more like him.

Honestly...it's very hard for me to reconcile wanting to support black media with an understanding that so many of them just seem to want to keep the status quo. On one hand I'm mad that someone like Iggy or Ariana Grande or Miley gets to have the place that they have in pop music, based almost exclusively on sounds that WE created. On the other hand....I'm like....fukk these black entertainers...if they aren't going to be for our community, than what does it matter if they aren't getting the money and fame?

If Chadwick Boseman comes out as a #newblack after as excited as I was for him to get the BP role....

2014 seems like it has been the year of "No nikkas" for Black celebs. Like...I've never been one to place too much importance on class *within* my own community because I think it leads to an emotional split as opposed to just a financial one that is already there....but many of our own folks seem mighty embarrassed to even be associated with us and I'm more and more likely than ever before to just look at ALL of these mutha fukkas as just some silver spoon, highfalutin, sheltered agents for white supremacy.
