You from the east coast im guessing? It's like that with some, however it's usually with black folks that a southern accent is indicative of their intelligence.

Yeah, not really though. White people harp on a misstep by a Black athlete FOREVER (shyt, look at how people still haven't let go of LeBron's "Decision" which wasn't even any kind of illegal or immoral step); I can't think of a Black person who even mentioned any of those people you listed two weeks after their controversies were no longer news.
