The camera skips ahead when he leaves the lady the first time and is stopped AFTER... look at when the man is standing in front of his car. traffic is moving in front of him...

It is a difficult situation to be in.

If he was on his own, he probably would have floored it but with kids in the car his mind would have been focused on deescalating a situation.

When someone's intentions are bad, it puts you at a disadvantage because you effectively lose time.

It is why it important to read the situation immediately.

Where he did fukk up was leaving the door unlocked. Should be common practice to have the door locked before shyt even pops off.

In that situation, I don't think that was on his mind. It looked as though one of those thugs had a gun on him.

As said before, I suspect that hopes of deescalating the situation was on his mind to avoid a situation where they start firing bullets at the car.

If he was on his own, he would have probably mowed them down.

I know because that would be my reasoning in the situation. However I am more pessimistic than him so a peaceful resolution would have been out the window the moment they didn't listen.

hell naw and double hell naw if my kids are in the car. first off i ain't stopping to entertain no discussion. if i can't drive off because of traffic or blocked in some how then dude with hand in coat getting lit up first. dude that tried to open door getting fingers sliced off or a couple rounds to center mass. i stay with the 2nd amendment and a hawk for situations like this. and in atl i can do all of this legally. my kids safety first and foremost.

glad dude and fam seem to be ok, but this could never be me. that could have gone left real quick if they had got into his car.

A lot of people talking about what they would do. Honestly, I’m not sure in this situation. He had his kids with him. No kids, I would’ve ran them over and kept doubling back and hitting each one. Kids with me, I’d have to just pull off and drive fast as hell.
