You're eliminating the most important element of my reasoning in order to prove whatever it is you're trying to prove...

Here let me give you an example of what I am saying. Please use basic common sense:

Now say a video went viral of a black person beating a white person on a game show, by answering basic questions (think family feud where a black family wins by answering simple questions over a white family). Now wouldnt a normal response be "whats so interesting about this video outside of a race?". As a matter of fact, myself as well as other black folks, would probably be offended, because the implication would be that black folks beating whites using basic knowledge is some off the wall sht.

Of course that would be a normal response to that video......which is why no such video ever went viral, so this whole example is pointless

Moving on....

Take it one step further...with this example:

Now race is of interest in that clip, but what the white kid did was sick as fck. Its interesting. Its not purely motivated by race. Thats why your jeopardy example was stupid. I mean could you do what the black kid did on jeopardy? No. Could I dunk like that white kid dunked? No. Could I ball up those black dudes like those mormon kids on a 9ft rim? Yep.

So because you can do what the Mormons did (which is apparently why you find it unimpressive), that means everyone else can do the same thing as well, and therefore they would also find it unimpressive? Or.......are there a lot of people out there who can barely ball/not ball at all, but associate blacks with basketball, and therefore be impressed/amused when a white dude dunks on one of them (even if it's something you can do, but they can't)?

Again (how many times do I have to repeat this )…..when it comes to the subject of videos going viral, it's not about what you personally consider impressive/unimpressive. It's not about what you could or couldn't do. You are not that important.

What is it really about? It's about what a large number of people on the internet find interesting, impressive or entertaining.

The Jeopardy video mainly went viral because dude was a young nikka that won, and black people (especially young black males) are stereotyped to not be intelligent enough for such a show. That was the main viral appeal; not a person being able to win Jeopardy (whether or not you or I could do it), because people win Jeopardy all the time, and don't go viral.

The Mormon video is starting to go viral because the dudes were not only white, but also part of a group which isn't exactly known for sports/athletics, and white missionaries are stereotyped to be too busy God-pushing, instead of balling. That was the main viral appeal; not a person dunking on some low-skilled dudes (whether or not you or I could do it), because there are plenty of low-viewed videos of wack dudes getting dunked on

The other video you posted mainly got views mainly because the dunk was uncommon and sick as hell, and the dude just happened to be white which added to the appeal.....so?

The black kid winning Jeopardy was not impressive to most normal people because he did what most of them couldn't do (win the shyt, which still happens all the time even though they can't do it). It was impressive to them because he was a black kid who won, which isn't common. Accept it. A lot of people can't yodel; that doesn't necessarily mean a yodeling dude's video is going viral (unless maybe......he's black )

So once again, there is nothing interesting about that mormon video, which was my point for the umpteenth time. OH LOOK, ITS AMAZING THAT THOSE WHITE GUYS ARE BETTER THAN THESE TWO BLACK GUYS IN BASKETBALL! Thats corny as fck. I see that every time I go to the gym to ball. Now do you finally understand what Im saying???????

As for the bolded.....if that was your point the whole time then I don't know why you keep pushing it, since I never tried to dispute your opinion. That's your opinion; you can have it . All I can do is state my opinion in response, because the whole thing about what people find impressive is subjective, anyway. What causes a video to go viral however, usually isn't, and is usually obvious to most people

The caps lock part pretty much confirms my suspicion that you're only shytting on the video, because you don't like the idea of white boys getting attention for something you consider unimpressive.
