So do you think the Jeopardy video went viral mainly because people were impressed with the young nikka's knowledge....and his race was just some minor factor in the attention it got? :heh:

Are you sure that's not just YOU who viewed it that way?

You know how many white dudes won Jeopardy more decisively than that young nikka, and it never went viral? The only white contestant that went viral (that I can recall) was that Ken Jennings cat, and that's only because dude kept on winning and looked like he couldn't be beaten

You can big up the young nikka's intelligence and downplay the Mormons' skills all you want; that's just your opinion. But that doesn't take away from the fact that the Jeopardy video went viral for the same reason the Mormon video did: race stereotypes. You made it a point to be sarcastic about the Mormon video getting a lot of attention, and why it got that attention.....but it's clear you wouldn't have reacted the same way to the Jeopardy nikka. Would you really have been like "it's funny how this shyt gettin' popular, like nikkas can't be smart :rudy:"? Nah...chances are you would have just been glad it got a lot of attention, then dropped a 'black excellence' comment and kept it moving :heh:

Judging the videos on its on merit, one is an impressive video, with race ADDING to its interest, the other is a decidedly unimpressive video, with race being THE ONLY interest. But I guess seeing solidly skilled white kids play on a 9ft rim got you super geeked. Thats great. Do you. I didnt read most of your post. Its a brain cell killer.

That video is more about how embarrassing those black dudes were than how impressive those white guys are.

Man, you all always gotta have a stick up your ass. This video is funny because you wouldn't ever expect those random mormon missionaries to be able to ball like that, plus the reactions to it are funny as fukk. who cares about their skin color

I knew a few Mormons growing up and they were usually taller and more athletic than your average Cac...not surprised :manny:

You keep talking about what you think makes those videos impressive or not :why:....and I don't know why because it's just your irrelevant opinion. It doesn't matter what you (or I) personally think of those videos. Your first post in here was about why the Mormon video went viral; remember? That's what I'm addressing.

First you commented on the so-called unimpressive video going viral only due to the race aspect......then you big up the Jeopardy video I posted as impressive regardless of race.....suggesting it didn't go viral for the same reason :what:. Then you used the 'impressive' argument to explain why you made the sarcastic comment for the Mormon video, but probably wouldn't do the same for the Jeopardy video.....even though your sarcasm only addressed the race aspect of the videos, not how impressive they were. Make up your mind, my nikka :wtf:

What made both videos go viral was a common, main appeal to the thousands/millions of people who watched/shared it....and it only takes common sense to figure out what that main appeal was for both videos: a race stereotype being challenged. That's it, nothing else.

Those Mormons weren't the first ones to school some nikkas on the court; there are plenty of videos of nikkas doing that on youtube. The appeal for the Mormon video? White dudes dunking on nikkas. Simple and obvious.

That young breh wasn't the first teen to win Jeopardy, and he wasn't the first person to give a semi-witty answer during the Final Jeopardy, either. Plenty of whites (and Asians :manny:) have done that. So what was the appeal to most people who viewed it? A black kid winning something that takes intelligence. Simple and obvious. You apparently think it got millions of views because people wanted to see the oh-so-rare, unique event of someone winning Jeopardy :heh:, regardless of their race

And I'm guessing you didn't fully read this post either....but don't worry, breh. This post was also meant for people whose brain cells don't die from reading something (that was your claim, not mine ).....I'm sure there are a lot of those out there, so it wouldn't have been a waste :manny:

cac humor...:manny:

But seriously though, it was funny just based on the expressions of the onlookers in the video. Not that impressed by the Mormon's skills however.

You're eliminating the most important element of my reasoning in order to prove whatever it is you're trying to prove...

Here let me give you an example of what I am saying. Please use basic common sense:

Now say a video went viral of a black person beating a white person on a game show, by answering basic questions (think family feud where a black family wins by answering simple questions over a white family). Now wouldnt a normal response be "whats so interesting about this video outside of a race?". As a matter of fact, myself as well as other black folks, would probably be offended, because the implication would be that black folks beating whites using basic knowledge is some off the wall sht.

Take it one step further...with this example:

http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhQRZiD1cAIP9lSjzK

Now race is of interest in that clip, but what the white kid did was sick as fck. Its interesting. Its not purely motivated by race. Thats why your jeopardy example was stupid. I mean could you do what the black kid did on jeopardy? No. Could I dunk like that white kid dunked? No. Could I ball up those black dudes like those mormon kids on a 9ft rim? Yep.

So once again, there is nothing interesting about that mormon video, which was my point for the umpteenth time. OH LOOK, ITS AMAZING THAT THOSE WHITE GUYS ARE BETTER THAN THESE TWO BLACK GUYS IN BASKETBALL! Thats corny as fck. I see that every time I go to the gym to ball. Now do you finally understand what Im saying???????
