Are you that stupid that you dont understand you're supporting my point --- that videos such as the ones posted, only serve to expose how we are pathologically addicted stereotypes, which turn human beings, full of variance, into absolutes? I'm not supporting any point. I'm simply saying that you would have saved the sarcasm for the video with the young nikka, and would have simply given him his props and kept it moving

Well, the obvious difference between the two videos, is that one kid is doing something fairly worthwhile and intriguing, while the other isnt interesting at all. Sure race added to the attention the jeopardy cat received, but his performance was truly impressive, irrespective of race. There isnt anything terribly impressive about balling up two scrubs, and on top of that white kids werent even that good (compare this to the spiderman bball video, which was cool because he was actually good as hell).

So do you think the Jeopardy video went viral mainly because people were impressed with the young nikka's knowledge....and his race was just some minor factor in the attention it got?

Are you sure that's not just YOU who viewed it that way?

You know how many white dudes won Jeopardy more decisively than that young nikka, and it never went viral? The only white contestant that went viral (that I can recall) was that Ken Jennings cat, and that's only because dude kept on winning and looked like he couldn't be beaten

You can big up the young nikka's intelligence and downplay the Mormons' skills all you want; that's just your opinion. But that doesn't take away from the fact that the Jeopardy video went viral for the same reason the Mormon video did: race stereotypes. You made it a point to be sarcastic about the Mormon video getting a lot of attention, and why it got that attention.....but it's clear you wouldn't have reacted the same way to the Jeopardy nikka. Would you really have been like "it's funny how this shyt gettin' popular, like nikkas can't be smart "? Nah...chances are you would have just been glad it got a lot of attention, then dropped a 'black excellence' comment and kept it moving
