if everyone takes the same test, it should be graded by the same standard

I used that example from a freshman year English Lit. class to cosign your point about head starts. The prof. and my classmate both being jewish didn't prevent me from passing the class....it was funny to hear a student in a prof. office hours pulling that J card ,though.

thanks for the article,op.

You're doing too much with your comments though. Instructor is dead wrong, but no good student in that class is going to fail because she gave answer key to white students.
I can't image that the final is graded on such a steep curve that students who pass the test would get a failing grade.

At any rate...instructor should be fired asap...and perhaps be brought up on charges.
I thought I pulled back on what I could have said. Do you understand that white people keep "affirmative action" on the tip of their tongues when you start talking about blacks in higher learning? They always bring up how blacks are taking spots that should be whites and Asians, but here they are cheating. And not just cheating, but they made sure to withhold information specifically from blacks in this case. Black people the only ones in America expected to play fair. Do we even need to talk about those Asian cheating scandals? And then people turn right around talkin about blacks lagging behind and not focusing on school.

A1 genes means u get an automatic 60% whether u study hard or not..so from that 60% just coz u have these genes u have to work 3x harder that means u get 180 out of 100 coz cacs would have already deducted 40 from ur 60..so if u work extra hard u will be lucky to get 75 coz u already disadvantaged thanks to that melanin..so to get 85% u need to know that textbook boi

She should be arrested. Her and the students who tried to protect her
that fraud too....which is serious..:manny:
RICO. conspiracy and fraud. Which is why I said she should probably be brought up on charges.
Before anybody laughs, the ATL public school cheating scandal resulted in people being prosecuted under RICO.

"Louisiana Delta Community College takes the cares and concerns of all of our students and employees very seriously, as we strive to promote an atmosphere conducive to learning. With that being said, upon learning of the allegations of racial bias at the Winnsboro Campus, we quickly launched a very thorough investigation. The outcome revealed no evidence of racial bias. Louisiana Delta Community College is committed to a culture of inclusion and always wants to do the right thing. If new facts or information become available, the investigation would obviously be re-opened."

Looks like this whole thing is going to be swept under a rug :francis:

I'm a grown man. You don't have to pull back on whatever you want to write.I said in first response that instructor needs to be fired and possibly charged.
If you're saying that this is the tip of the iceberg for that professor ,dept., or school....that's all going to come out now that the spotlight is on.

I think most of the rest of what you're saying is a reach.

even if the answers for this particular test didn't make up the whole course it clearly shows that there is a bias with the teacher and that she/he is probably doing anything in their power to see blacks fail in other aspects of the program. This is just one thing where they got booked but it shows the probable possibility that they be doing this in some other form with every test/assignment grading

This shyt needs to blow up

There's a Black Student Union group on most pwi campuses, so I hope that they use their voices and platforms to uncover everything going on down there.

I'm not surprised. PWI nursing schools work like the mob, and help white students to pass. They love when black students fail, so they can tell them they can be CNAs.
I'd imagine that the % of students passing licensing exams is what strongly determines the ranking of nursing schools. Not sure how having ANY of their students fail benefits the nursing school.

When I was in school, one of my friends was convinced the professor was changing her answers on exams so she'd not pass.We couldn't prove it for all exams, but on one test, an answer was erased and the same answer circled with red pen like he forgot to circle a wrong answer before marking it wrong....she got those points back....

Also, you have to be careful w/ white kids, even the ones who claim to be your friend. I remember for a linear algebra class, we had this huge midterm coming up, everyone was already struggling in the class, and the midterm was freaking folks out. I studied with this other black guy in my class, as the third of us (yes, there were only three) was out sick (he eventually would have to withdraw). So anyways, come exam day, these white kids, some of whom I never even saw in class before, are breezing through the exam and handing the professor back the exams with this air of cockiness that just didn't set well with me. So, once I finish, i head outside and I see some guys waiting for a friend in the hallway and I'm like "man, that was something," and I know they can't resist when they think they're holding something over you, so I'm just waiting for them to say something, and eventually, some Chad goes: "Nah, was basically word for word like the review session, just changed a couple numbers." so now I know what's up - "oh, there was a review session, didn't see any email..." and then they kinda get quiet cause they realize they weren't supposed to talk. "Oh yea? Some kid in the class organized it...I just heard about it, don't know if he ever sent out an email...said he would though" but I'm not dumb...never intended for the whole class to be invited and the professor sat up there, in a study room full of white kids and didn't think to send out an email while in the middle to ensure the entire class knew....

It was alright though, sat behind some Korean kids who managed to take a cell phone pic of the exam and answer key during office hours supposedly. Checked my answers against his and coded with my friend so he wouldn't slip behind. Both of us ended up with B's.....

ETA, main point was that the other black kid in the class, was supposedly friends with some of those dudes and they didn't think to invite him.

This is the type of stuff that happens all over the place. What's funny is if black people make better grades than them, they assume blacks are cheating because they cheated. They always got some backdoor argument to make.

Asian kids got cheating on LOCK...white kids need admin help. If a bunch of white kids passed something, they got inside help for sure. I know in one of my micro classes, this white girl I knew basically got word for words answers from the professor for the upcoming exam, shared them with me so I had them, but when the grading came back, I had random missed points on my answers. Our answers weren't word for word, but we were saying the same stuff. I argued with him about it using her exam cause I knew he wouldn't take points off of hers. Later that week, she doesn't want to study with me anymore and I'm like "why?" "oh, professor said I shouldn't let people copy my work.." ummm what? You literally just got answers from him, you didn't DO any work.

When I saw her in corporate finance, I acted like I never even knew her.

You also have to be careful on the shucking and jiving teachers...those ones who go lighter on the white kids and harder on the black kids to 'teach us a lesson' or whatever BS they've come up with to justify trying to hold their own back.

Also, when you take stereo typically "white" classes, be prepared. Ended up taking Mandarin and Ancient Civilizations courses and both those teachers were on something iffy. I signed up for a "Spring break in QingDao" program the language department had going (Dad submitted the deposit and everything) and didn't hear back until I asked about it, meanwhile, all the white kids had already gotten email confirmations and "what to pack" lists....They finally responded that they think my application must've 'gotten lost in the shuffle' when really, they just don't like when black kids sign up for those types of opportunities. Same thing happened to my sister for her language trip to Tunisia. For ancient civilizations, I wanted to do my research paper on Isis Fortuna, got a bunch of grief from the professor...ended up using an abstract she had written as the basis for my paper and watched her red mark the hell out of it; she told me "I just need you to try harder" so I told her, "well I used your abstract as the basis for my paper" and watched her face fall...just being difficult for the hell of it. Don't want to see black succeed.
