Cacs aren't going to check their racist friends or family because 7 out 10 they are likely in cohorts with the racist individual and share the same sentiments but don't have the gut to do what their friend/family members do.

That Buffalo shooter, for instance, family and friends were out there crying in front of their house the night it happened most might think they were crying for the victims or the fact that someone they knew did such a monstrous thing but don't get it twisted.

They might've been crying because they couldn't believe he went along with his plan, they likely knew he had these ideas and feelings but thought it was just bluff and now crying in support of him cause his life is now ruined.

The way I see it, ALL white ppl are racist half of them being overt and others are covert. Many will say that's a broad statement but imo it's a necessary mindset Black ppl NEED to start embracing as it will keep Black folk's guards up not just physically but mentally.

White ppl are good at deceiving ppl and at most times, especially and unfortunately Black ppl are the victims or sufferers of that deception. That same “cool” cac at work or wherever that smile on your face and daps you up could be a whole different animal in the privacy of their own home.

MF could be at home writing manifestos, talking a lot of N-word “this & that”, watching racist clips/speeches, racist memorabilia scattered throughout their home, blackfishing on social media, and even on sites like the coli along with many other shyt.

I hate drawing parallels between racism and sexism as it’s usually done in bad faith but it’s hard not to see them here.

How many “friends” or family male members do we hear say some over the top sexist shyt? And then they play it off as “I’m just fukking with ya?” And then you find out that same guy is a rapist, domestic abuser or some other egregious shyt?

A lot of us men overlook this and don’t check that behavior, and then expect the onus to be put on women to protect themselves from men like this.

Just as we should ostracize scum bag men like that, CACs should do it too but they won’t because it’s their own friends and family that they don’t want cut out.

And funnily enough, you hear some men say “I used to be really sexist until I had my first daughter, now I see how wrong my ways were.” How is that different until “I used to hate black people until my daughter had a black baby and my son-in-law is not like the others.”

In an ideal world, both of these type of people would be checked but they won’t because the passive of least resistance makes a less stressful life.

I know it’s hard to accept because some whites are nice and some even help you out but most are racist and would rather you not be around, even if that means you have to die. The non racist whites are such a negligible number that it’s not even worth trying to figure out who isn’t. Racism is discrimination, and discrimination is a part of our human nature. I'm sure we all have a family member, or friend, and they can never catch a break from their parents. But their other sibling, they can do no wrong even though they do wrong a lot. It's not going anywhere. The most we can ever hope for is to come together culturally. And the day that happens, we will find some group of people in the country to discriminate against.
