Same thing happened to Jazz, went from John Coltrane to Kenny G. It's like the 2nd law of thermodynamics, entropy always increases over time.

Never like Em that much but when Eminem was popular hip hop was at its peak so I respectfully disagree.
What ruined hip hop was the lack of quality control.
Nowadays a rapper could be an overnight sensation with out any of the proper leg that builds a foundation.
Look at ice spice and one hit wonder with one semi decent song performing at the VMAs. 10 years ago you would have had to have a least a few good hits and an album on the way for even a shoot to sit at the show.
These new rappers don’t have the time to season and get flavor.

Despite what people wanna tell you, Jazz was never as popular as people think it was.
Jazz wasn't competing with Funk, and Gospel and damn sure wasn't competing with R&B and Disco.
The rap labels were all under White parent companies and executives with jews running distribution..of course whites directed and dictated the toxic and degrading course its on from the top.
Anything Black that makes money will be bought out fast and controlled..if they cant physically replace Black faces theyll just pull the strings from behind the scenes.
