I strongly disagree with the idea that the internet isn't real life or is somehow this separate thing and I also believe it's a dangerous idea.
Also, the thread title is just as incorrect. White supremacy is sustained in many ones, one is by way of keeping non-white people feuding with each other. The gender wars we're seeing online are nothing new in spite of our romanticized ideas of Black families in times past.

I just got done running errands and saw everyone acting civil. All kinds of backgrounds. Half the people still wearing masks. No drama.
I’m not saying it doesn’t exist because it clearly does but I’ve never heard any bm vs. bw bullshyt I read on the internet repeated in real life… it’s almost like some of you nikkas never go outside.
Still ridiculous to me. An internet personality dies and nikkas start acting like it is the coming of the apocalypse.
Most people are only around people they know.
The issue is when it comes to creating new relationships.
This. This is something I wish black people paid more attention to, even more so with our ability to set trends and define aspects of cultures. The black community is seemingly gifted in creating memes and thus, ways of thinking yet we never harness this power for anything truly constructive these days. We did at one point but let much of that fall by the way side. People ignoring this shyt will wonder why Gen Z have the odd mindset about race that they do.
What’s funny is I was talking to a girl I had not seen in like 8 years last night. She is completely radicalized by the internet.

At fist I thought she was just frustrated but the more she spoke, the more she sounded like Twitter. She was calling herself a divestor, blaming black men for all the black community problems, quoting Cynthia G etc.

I hear this argument a lot. You're not hearing these things offline because people feel safer sharing unpopular opinions online where there's no danger of violence. It should come as no surprise that people with either some sense of anonymity or distance from others will say things they are unwilling to say when in closer proximity to others.
What's more alarming is people's takeaway that because they don't hear these opinions offline these issues only exist online.
