I wouldn't doubt that Sutter would actually have them believe it. The show really needs them not to though. The Sons/Jax need not know that shyt ain't sweet just because the say it is. They should murk the whole Belfast chapter to show them things aren't that easy.
I'm rolling with Tara too even though it's not looking good for her whatever decision she makes. Everybody else could either die a slow death or rot in prison. Except Chibs and Happy, them two the coolest from the crew.I want everyone to die except Tara and tge kids. Everyone else

Let this be a lesson to those who decide to raise other nikkas' children 
Jax Teller is a cold motherfukka but for some reason I kinda felt bad for Clay and thought he was gonna make it outta this one, yet again. Dude survived all kinds of ish in prison and the way SAMCRO delicately broke him outta the police transport, you'd think he was really getting on that plane to Belfast. But Jax proved that he was smart, got a deal for the club to avoid prosecution, removed Clay forever, got outta guns and hopefully the Irish buy that bullshyt story he cooked up.
But Tara needed to get a bullet put in her head for that deal she's about to make with the DA. One second, the deal is off the table and the next day it magically re-appears and she's ready to spill the beans? It's bugged out that she could potentially take the whole club down with that bullet she took outta Bobby.
Nero, on the other hand, needs start slowly phasing out Diosa, putting his kid in another facility and getting outta Charming. Aint nothing THAT fly about Gemma that would make ANY man wanna stay with her. They way it stands, Nero and Diosa are gonna be the ones putting food on the club's table, so its not like he REALLY needs them. Let the club eat off their porno studio and Robocop (if he'd tolerate their sloppy ways).
And this sad motherfukka Unser is this week's simp. Telling Gemma he's in love with her
like that's gonna make any difference. Dude has been around SAMCRO for like 50 years and should see that Gemma likes the real bad dudes who have power. Why would she even consider him when SAMCRO has had more than its share of badasses that she'd have to pick from. Him helping Tara out this season was as effective as a human as he could be on their behalf and it came in the form of being a babysitter. I'm sure Abel and Thomas would rather some porno stars watch them than a rickety old man with "cancer."
As for the club, they better HOPE the Irish believe them because we see how they get down with the bombs and shyt. They would literally blow Charming off the map. They seemed pretty adamant about not wanting to continue guns with Pope's crew (or anyone black/brown
). They went outta their way to hatch this scheme to break out Clay and get him a private plane to Belfast specially because that connection with Clay runs/ran deep. They dont know Pope's crew or the Chinese and no matter how good they'd get the guns flowing out West, their minds were made up. It was either help Clay break out or suffer the consequences.
