But really what's the point of that statement, white artists in 2015 are appropriating music and stealing sells from light skin AND dark skin black artist right now

You kno whats crazy tho? Whenever you hear people playing old R&B its never Whitney. Im not saying she didn't have a ton of black fans but she was definitely marketed to white audiences.
