I like this thread but I don't believe it's best usage of the term "Flash-in-the-Pan rapper" . . it should be rappers that are mediocre-to-decent but just good for a few highlights throughout some verses . .

After J-Dee got locked up it was a wrap. But the timing on Guerillas In The Mist 1st dropping was great.
After Dead Serious Das kinda fell off with nobody really taking them serious anymore, that style that popularized them kinda brought em down quick. Them muthafvckaz came back with a vengeance though on the Hold It Down album but by that time who was really checkin for a Das album......except me I guess
Domino comes to mind also....Ghetto Jam was HUGE on the west coast...don't know what happened to dude after that album.
