It’s very attractive. Dallas looks like trash but they can’t keep being trash and Luka doesn’t leave. So they will struggle to win games and that pick could be anywhere from 11- 20. A year ago they went to the WCF and people thought Luka was a MVP candidate.

my point is they could be trash next year if kyrie leaves and then you know that pick aint conveying next year, so your best bet is 25. they have no assets to get better so if kyrie leaves they could be fukked for a decent amount of tiime and then that pick will turn to shyt. thats why im not as high on it as you, if kyrie stays then this is moot.It’s very attractive. I think if Kyrie comes back they could still suck. Just don’t be surprised if Knicks are going to trade that draft pick. It’s valued peaked because the Mavs suck and you can’t say if they will improve or not. It could be top ten, lottery, or maybe even in the 20’s. That is way better than the value of the pick after Brunson took them to the WCF.
Yea, by itself. But in a package you can still say “we got X picks for this trade!” Everyone keeps talking about how we have like 8 first round picks to trade in the next 4 seasons even though they break down like this:

Yep, plus the Knicks are a young competitive team. Remember how hard it was for the kids to get time over old vets. A kid would have to be elite to knock any starter for minutes and the bench ain’t easy either. Heck Mcbride and Simms barely play and they look ready…. The Knicks need to get some young guys on good deals who have shown they are NBA players.

In the reg season yeah! In the playoffs we losing about 15 and 7 on 35% shooting! Real dogs elevate their game in the playoffs. Randle is incapable of a run like Brunson just had. He don't have the temperament, shot making ability, or the will to win. He'll sulk. He'll bytch. But he won't get mad enough to put the team on his back and say follow me.

This is pretty delusional.
The league is pretty straightforward you can look on paper and tell what range a team is supposed to fall in. If they go over that, you gotta give credit to the coach. If they go under, blame the coach.
The Knicks on paper were not supposed to be this good. Look at these preseason projections they ended up being pretty damn accurate:

I hate Julius like the rest of us but is there evidence of Julius actually hurting morale? None of the players have complained. Not even leaks of people tired of his shyt. And you know Mitch woulda tweeted or liked some shyt. I think that’s why he probably won’t be gone.
