If they team up it would be in NY, the Knicks are going to have a ton of caproom in the summer of Giannis.

I wish, but they clear out Noah/Thomas/Lee the year before giannis hits FA. I expect the Knicks to chase hometown Kyrie to play with KP that season.

Raptors make everyone look good

Thon Maker has been a disaster this year, that Raptor series tricked us all to be honest and he has a long long way to go, he realistically shouldn't even be part of the rotation anymore. To put it in perspective of how bad he's been, he's currently the worst rebounding starting C in the league, even on a per minute basis he's been horrific to the point Meyers Leonard had been better on the glass. They are getting absolutely nothing from him, the popular thought is that he helps their defense, yet they have a 115 defensive rating when he's on the floor and a 99 when he's off it, even their offense improves without him. The only thing he provides is the threat of three point shooting, outside of that he probably needs to be playing in the G league. I don't know how he's going to get better this year either, a lot of his problems come from being so skinny and weak, dudes just toss him out the way for boards. Then there's Khris Middleton, who is a nice player and asking him to be a 2nd option isn't in his bag, Brogdon is a roleplayer that has a cap on what he can give you and a very low ceiling. After that they have absolutely no other players on the team that can create offense from the perimeter.

They need another creator in the worst way, what they have now wont cut it, and I'd really worry about Giannis staying there long term. It's never too soon to worry about your franchise player, and he already said some shyt over the summer about how he's loyal and would prefer to stay in Milwaukee but the organization has to make the right moves. That clock is ticking, and we've seen the movie play out before where a perimeter player is asked to do too much and then decides to leave.

They need backcourt help. I like Brogdon and Snell but that’s not getting anything done if you want to be a serious contending team. Middleton doesn’t play well with giannis and he’s streaky as fukk. They also need solid bigs. Thon plays like a SG in every way. Just camps on the perimeter. Has no true mid range or post game. Isn’t physical at all and gets demolished by bigs on the glass. I bet Ball has is averaging more rebounds then him. Can’t have less efficient Brook Lopez as your starter. He’s defense sucks to he was getting demolished last night on the pnr by Westbrook/Adams. They have also done a bad job of roster management. Those Delimeat and Henson contracts are unmovable unless you take garbage back. And then there is the Jabari dilemma. Do you commit to a one dimensional player with that injury history. Giannis is walking in a few years

If you wanted to be exciting on the offensive end, this lineup wouldn't have much defense but...

Bucks actually have a solid squad around him, but it's just not a contending squad. I love Middleton, a healthy Jabari is a beast on offense and complimented Giannis nicely, and while he's not there yet I love Thon in the long run still. Brogdon is a great solid complimentary piece to everyone, I'd like to see him moved into a 6th man Iggy type role and the Bucks need to find a good shooting and scoring guard.

Someone like DLo would be a great fit on this squad in my eyes. While he's not much of a shooter, the two way benefits of Eric Bledsoe would be a big bonus for them if they can get him at a reasonable price.

They're going to have to trade for pieces or draft another superstar to make the team look desirable to players. Guys will go to small market teams if they think there's a chance they'll win a title.
