Go back and look at the teams Shaq/Kobe where destroying during their time together. Curry/KD are dope, but they haven't faced nearly as much competition as Shaq/Kobe did. Shaq/Kobe were beating down the Spurs with a Prime Duncan and those stacked Portland and Kings teams. The best team Curry/KD have faced is a Spurs team without their two most important players.

Cavs need someone like Melo, a top level shooter that can create his own shot and drive to the basket a la Durant. Melo can match Durant and Lebron will do the rest. The Cavs should get rid of Korver because he doesn't get enough 3s to make up for his poor defense. They could also use a guard that can actually guard, shoot 3s and facilitate the ball. I've always said Kyrie is one-dimensional and an outdated iso player above all else. I would bring in Kyle Lowry and start him.

Lebron can't guard 3 elite three point shooters at the same time, including Durant, who alone can carry teams to the playoffs. Lebron can't do much to stop Curry from pulling up from way beyond the 3 point line, stop Durant from getting his and so on. That said, Lebron is still a GOAT player; it's just that this 3 point game today is revolutionizing the game. I think GS is so good now because of Durant, not because of anyone or anything else. Durant is making space, getting dunks, running, getting his 3s, same as OKC. What can Lebron do against the soft elite 3 point shooters who hide behind the 3 AND Durant, who can do it all?
