Who cares about Hinkie stepping down. He's already done irreparable damage to the NBA and the 76ers.

True. But essentially the Minnesota nucleus is what Hinkie thought he could engineer. But he and his followers didn't realize you can't engineer LUCK.

To get a nucleus like Minnesota or OKC 5 years ago requires several steps that one can't control:

(1) Win the lottery. Even the worst team only has a 25% chance.

(2) Hope you win the lottery in a year when a trascendent player is available. Not every year is like 2014 or 2015. You can sometimes be stuck with a Anthony Bennett.

(3) Hope the transcendent player stays healthy. See Greg Oden.

This is why I never understood what Philly was doing. Their whole brilliant "trust the process" strategy required lots of LUCK.

Every strategy is luck :manny:

You're one of those people that's so blinded by your hate and things you see in the media that you can't see the facts.

the jersey drop was blown out of proportion, he placed it on the table. It was the angle of the video.

I watch Philly play so I don't hate them but Hinkie is trash

Colangelo is a good GM. Not very good or great but good.

He's practical. He looks at models and charts and makes decisions.

He isn't a superstar or die GM.

He will trade prospects for proven players with no fukk shyt given. Fans of Hinkie will hate him because he always tries to build a team before finding building blocks. He does value playoffs a lot. He's not a contender over all types but he does try to build a hard working culture with his team's.

Every fanbase got tired of him because he could never take that next level leap from playoff team like a 2nd round or conference final fodder to contenders but he does build good Basketball teams.

Great decision by the ownership of Philly.

:mjlol: It's not that bad. You needed to get out of this foolishness of tanking. Your not the Lakers. You don't have a organization players dream to be a part of. You need to get assets while build something. What Hinkie was doing was hustling backwards, making a fool of himself.

We're in Atlanta son. We don't have history but we in Atlanta in a Black played sport.

I do know what I am talking about. Philly is one of my three adopted teams of the season.

Orlando
Philly
Sacramento

I watched a lot of each teams games. I know the Sixers.

The 76ers as an organization are straight trash.:trash:

He ain't the only that should be stepping down.

The organization don't know how to draft and they don't how to develop players.

They have no real plan for the future.

The Celtics are a perfect example of having an actual plan when it comes to rebuilding.

I think he should have been given one more off-season. There was no way they could bottom out and tank again next year. He should have assured investors next season would have been the start of the upward swing, since they were clearly running out of patience.

Fans like @AAKing23 is everything wrong with Sixer fans. They brought into this bullshyt about the draft and franchise players and shyt that they been drinking the hope Kool aid for four years now. This is what has happened.

A. No one has improved much since.
B. Other than Noel, most of their picks floppes4.
C. No one wants to play there.
D. They are one of the worst teams in NBA history.

Fans like aa dumbass is eating this up. Well just the chance to get Wiggins and Towns is better than nothing.

Let me be the first to say, nothing is worse than having a 6th to 8th seed or 9th to 11th team who has no future. Nothing.

But tanking is stupid after about two years. Cleveland had the 8th best chances and got #2 twice. What does that say for tanking. You tank again and you get a center who don't want to be there.

I been in the tank before. Some of the worst years as a fan. Not as bad as the middle but much worse than having a team who's like a couple moves away. You gotta move from this tank shyt.

Four years and all you got to show for it is a talented big who has been regressing this year.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Gobert is the extremely raw norm as is Giannis, Dennis and Drummond. They were draft with thoughts that they were raw as shyt.

The book still out on Dieng.

And Okafor drafted under the idea he'd need work defensively, but his offense would be very good, which it was. He's raw defensively, he was 19 when he played his first game, why are you only cutting slack to players that were raw offensively?

Yes I do. I even watched y'all in the Iggy years and I was for the tank initially. You hit a three year mark of deadly mediocrity and your attendance was in the shytter. It was time for a change.

I am not against the tank but your tank time expired. Time to start building a team. If the Lakers want to tank for y'all next year, fine. But you need to build a playoff team.

But his offense has been bad. If his offense was good, I would say much bad about him.
