The Big Bang Theory is not concerned with who/what created the universe or what may have existed before it. It is simply an accounting of the formation of the universe based on observational evidence, eg. cosmic microwave background, objects throughout the universe moving away from each other, accelerating expansion, etc.

In short, the Big Bang Theory and Intelligent Design are not mutually exclusive.

According to the Big Bang the universe is expanding and has been expanding since the beginning of time

Notice how even in our language we indicate that time itself must have some sort of beginning but that’s another story

If the universe is currently expanding, what exactly is it expanding into? Like literally what is there before the universe “expanded” into it?

Whatever it is, wouldn’t it just be more universe?

So did the universe expand or just our view of it? There is no end to the universe and believe it or not there possibly may have been no beginning either.

How so? The original bible says that God is not man or woman. The term God doesn't even exist in the original translation. Elohim is plural. In Genesis, there's a polytheistic God saying let us make "Man" meaning male and female in our image. The only time God is referenced as a male is when he creates his son but the reason why they call God a He instead of a she is because He was created before a She.

Here's another mindfukk. In the new testament when Yeshua came back and spoke with multiple people, they didn't recognize him. His image always alters. The recognition is only through the spirit like speaking to someone in a dream that looks vaguely familiar you've never met.

He is the spirit realm. In Christianity, it's the father, son and holy spirit. Father doesn't necessarily mean male or female in its original context but the first or head of table. The son is who was created in physical form and the spirit is the entire realm.

Everything created from the Elohim is either XX or XY but God doesn't consist of neither because he's not man.

The confusion is when people choose the egg before the chicken when they are one in both in that realm outside of time.

Edit: To answer your question, the spirit realm was always here. Just 1 big conscious that decided to manifest physical life and split itself into a quatrain of personalities which are all connected to one being the holy spirit. That one massive spirit of conscious, energy and life is the Elohim. You can say an egg just mass producing life.
