So he was running Mike and the corner boys?:gucci:
Mike beat his ass and he was still under him on the block.
He was like 8 bruh lol. He was the youngest nikka on the block and he wasn’t scared of teenagers.

He bucked on Namond cause he saw he was soft. And he killed Omar just cause he wanted the clout. They foreshadowed it when he stared at Omar after he pulled up on Mike.

He’s an antisocial muhfukka that isn’t gonna follow rules and take orders from people. That’s why I see him more turning into Marlo.

You can also say Randys snitch jacket given to him in middle school will also play a part in his character if he becomes the next kingpin. Something like that will definitely make him very protective of his name and reputation, like how Marlo is. If Randy ends up the next kingpin I can see him having somebody or anybody killed who mentions anything about him "snitching" when we was young, trying to taint his reputation.

Never thought about Namond being the next Clay Davis either, but that could happen too.

Namond got out of the streets and applied his mind to academics after being adopted by the Colvins, but there was no evidence of a transformation of morality or character. It’s not hard to see him use Colvin’s connections to get in the crooked Baltimore political game and be a sleazy Senator that’s always on the take.

In fact, I think they may have implied this when they showed them both say the identical phrase: “I’ll take any nikka money if he giving it away!”

:ohhh:

Thats the main thing that makes me go :patrice: with the Namond=Clay Davis comparison.

They both say they'll take money from people, are both foul mouthed a$$holes and are both seen in respected positions for their age groups (an academic and a politician). But we don't really see much with Namond's personality once Colvin becomes his legal guardian. All that is seen is that he now respects adults, is more disciplined, more serious about his future and obviously couldn't have made it to that debate in season 5 acting the way he did before. Clay Davis however was very greedy and that made him do all the fukked up things he did. Plus he was slick and well connected.

Point being, if we look at Naymond's scenes living with the Colvins, he is becoming more mature and is likely gaining some morals along the way so I can't really see him becoming like Clay Davis who had no morals.
