Who did you prefer between MVP and Shelton Benjamin?

I am NOT a sex offender
The only reason I compare these two and even ask this question is because I remember reading an Observer or some such report that the WWE preferred Benjamin over MVP and wished that MVP could learn from Benjamin in terms of ring technique as well as mannerisms. Which I found odd at the time because I had thought MVP had strong world title holder potential and a fair amount of charisma, whereas I liked Benjamin and enjoyed many of his matches both singles and tag but he didn't connect with me the way MVP did. The WWE thought otherwise!

MVP was a joke to me for a long time. He got nurdered on mic by Miz at a Survivor Series.

Shelton is probably the most talented worker since prime Mysterio. Held down and jobbed out. Too black for the game apparently. They made Blandy champion but not Shelton. I think that about says it all.

Whether it be their work in the US or Japan I got Shelton.

I could see why people were so big on MVP but I honestly wasn't all that impressed outside of his run with TNA and that was mostly just off his mic/manager work.

I prefered mvp because shelton was good for matches but boring outside of them

Every good shelton angle or syoryline or promo is always because of the other people involved. Mvp has proven to hold his own on the mic as a heel and face and mvp was a capable ring worker

Mvp was better overall but shelton in the ring was better then mvp

Shelton by a ton. Outside of his stuff with Benoit, I had zero interest in MVP for his WWE run and after. For a dude apparently so known for being a good talker, I thought he was a pretty shytty promo guy. Even outside of WWE, everything he says is weirdly stilted and sounds like he's trying to memorize word for word.

They both sucked as singles competitors overall as far as convincability or making you want to watch them in the WWE.
Both were unnerving and immediate change the channel types.
as soon as any indication of them appearing on screen was indicated.

Both were better not being made to be pisspoor cliche confused black talent in a staunch WWE promotion base.
Where they showed what real talent was squelched in higher quality angle making promotions.

MVP had the charisma and mic skills but Shelton Benjamin was better in the ring.

Both of those guys could have been used so much better.

Edit: Damn, I forgot to say who I preferred. It's Shelton of course.

Since were in this racist ass topic.... what did Vince only have room to push ONE midcard black man? Why make an excuse to push one OR the other? There also were plenty of people in the same position as Shelton and MVP. This type of thinking is why they are so creatively stumped at the moment.

For what they accomplished? Shelton by a mile. Dude was ridiculously gifted and could have floated into the upper midcard and even main event on his in ring skills alone.
.
For their potential? MVP by a mile. His in ring presence was more than decent and he could have hung with anybody. His charisma was off the charts compared to a lot of guys He could have done much more based on personality alone. Easily could have been Smackdown champ.

MVP. Shelton was fire in the ring, but you need more than ring work to entertain me, which is something Shelton was lacking.
