This is the closest to what happened. But the thing with the Outlwaz went a little different. When Pac was locked up he heard the Mobb Deep song and actually liked it, and one of the prison guards claimed to know Mobb Deep, so Pac had arranged through the prison guard for the Outlwaz to meet Mobb Deep at the show but when they got there Mobb Deep ain't recognize the Outlawz and didn't acknowledge them so the Outlawz got heated and was screaming "thug life" at Mobb from the crowd. Pac took the whole thing as disrespect. Prodigy later claimed he didn't know who they was or that they was 2pacs crew.
They did squash it in recent years. There's a video of Prodigy and Young Noble or Napoleon and they cool and showing each other respect

The blind leading the sheep.
Music is as internal as the audience listening.
And from then to now.
All i see are stans and groupies.
Which is slowly decreasing his music's value.
Too much of a good thing can harm you.
Pac is no different than any other emcee.
The conflicting polarities of thug life and being righteous.
