Both. They're not allowing him to be himself. He's a goofy person in real life but they're trying to push this "badass" persona which everyone sees thru. It's creatives fault for pushing that and his fault for just being a patsy and accepting it and going with it.

The bigger question is who's that "cool" babyface? The shortage of babyfaces is gonna spell heavy trouble because like Cena, anybody Reigns faces gonna be cheered

I'll tell you guys what. I think the only TRUE babyface that both the kids and the smark adult crowd will agree on and get behind is Sami Zayn.

Styles is amazing, but he's almost TOO cool, so to speak. He doesn't really generate an air of sympathy for himself too often. Could be an age and experience thing, but you can always get that "overcoming a bully" vibe with Zayn.

In answer to the original post, Bray Wyatt is one of the worst booked wrestlers today and yet still gets monster pops each week, for every staredown, at Mania etc etc. Give him the belt and not many would complain

I'm probably the only person. Who doesn't like Sami Zayn. I can't get behind a guy who looks like he should be behind the deli counter and not in a ring.

Eh? He's goofy as hell during plenty of his promos, always cracking shyt jokes and one liners, did this past week on Raw for example. Roman just sucks on the mic, clearly not comfortable.

He's like the opposite of Brock/Vince. In person they are quiet, calm, shy people yet in front of an audience they come alive and show more personality. Roman is the opposite, cool in real life but clearly shyts himself in front of a crowd
