Geno? A CB? Opinions on who it might be.

Take Geno. Your QB situation is terrible and if coached up like Russell Wilson, he could be one of the best QB's in the NFL. You have a very good WR core, a top 3 running back, and a very good OL core. You are offensively set if you get a QB. Gabbert is below average and Henne is below average. You need upgrades. Wilson has a top 10 OL, a very good RB, and a solid WR core. He shined. Jacksonville can address CB or S in the 3rd and 4th round.

The Jags OL is one of the worst, they made a step towards getting better. As for MJD, I think he's gone next year when is contract is up. WR group is looking good. I say trade out of the pick, because CB, and DL are still a major issue. Give Gabbert this year, like they seem to be doing. Then if all else falls take a QB in the 1st rd next year.

Their biggest issues were RT and the QB being so sorry and not doing what he is suppose to do. The OL wasn't that bad outside of the RT which was horrible. I still say a lot is on the QB's.

Where is MJD going to go?

You can address the secondary in the 3rd and 4th round. Deep draft and I see a lot of potentially press corners in this draft. There is only one QB left in this draft that is better right now than Henne or Gabbert. That's Smith. The rest are damn near the same.

LT can't stay healthy, Guards are terrible, and the center is 36. MJD's on the last year of his contract after a hold out last year. It seems obvious they plan on moving from him/or aren't really worried. I agree CB is deep this year, and they could maybe wait. But whats the percentage of a 3rd or 4th rounder starting for ya team, and being a contributor. This team lost both of their starting CB's and safety. If they think Geno is the answer, they should absouletly pull the trigger, I just don't think he is, and they can fill the many other caps they have by going CB and DL..Hell I think Barkley might even better than Geno, and he could be picked up later by trading down.

As much as i wldnt be mad if we gave Gabbert ONE more year let's face it.......

The fact that i'm saying that means we need a new QB.....

NFL Draft 2013: Jaguars looking to trade No. 33 pick - Big Cat Country

The Jacksonville Jaguars are shopping the 33rd overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, sources tell Big Cat Country. The team picked up Luke Joeckel with the second overall pick, which should give the team a good pair of starting offensive tackles. The team will be looking to add more picks in the second round however.
It was reported by Mark Long of the Associated Press that the Jaguars would not be drafting a quarterback with the 33rdoverall pick, and as expected the team is shopping it hard, despite the fall of quarterbacks like Geno Smith and Ryan Nassib. The team would like to pick up at least another mid-round pick to slide down some.
The Jaguars can field calls for the rest of the evening and all day on Friday to find a good offer for the first pick in the second round.
