This show always makes me sad. You remember the good times and you can just see how happy everyone looks in them old videos. Just hearing Chuckii talk about them and how those songs were blowing up, you could see how happy he was. Even with Joyce Irby(didn't know she and Levert were writing for them), I think everyone thought Troop would be stars for a long time. I knew when they were showing that All I do is think of you video that it was about to crash. Its always the same damn story with contracts. This is why music is what it is today. Its like there was a period where cats were just not savvy about contracts and were too much into their music and the labels took advantage to get a lot of good music out of non-business savvy types. Now it takes much more business savvy to the point that I wonder if the real musicians can't get that money now that the contract is knowledge is more available. Its sad. I think Troop had plenty to move on into that next era that was more R&B heavy if things had gone better.
