Security+ in the minimum for any cleared job. They even made non-technical people working for the DOD get certified.

The problem is there is a ton of discrimination in getting these Federal cyber jobs. For example veteran preference is supposed to mean something in job reqs. But I've seen it routinely ignored by hiring managers. The Federal hiring process is as corrupt as they come.
Veterans get the red carpet treatment for them everywhere they go and still complain cause they weren't immediately offered a complmentary cup of tea.

Diving deeper into PHP/Laravel. I was strictly frontend in the first 3-4 years of my career, now I'm finding backend dev way more interesting and I'm getting better entrepreneur opportunities. Everybody and their mama chasing react/node jobs so I switched it up.

Also want to get better at sales, marketing/SEO and research

You'll be in demand if you have the experience, certs and/or degree.

It's so much easier to coordinate when the person is stateside and down the hall from you.

But bigger companies will be using Vishnu and Raj, trust. You can look at smaller companies who want a local IT presence.

MSPs crash and burn every week. They are getting bought out and combined a lot though so, that is a little worrysome. They get bigger, than lazier.
Outsourcing a lot to India without telling you.

"Oops, sorry Mr.Afro, our uh, "Database Technicians." overwrote your Database. Backups? I thought you had them?"
