My Pops thought he was the youngest child of 10 for 30 plus years until my Grandfather died and 3 of his “outside of the marriage” kids came to the funeral. Thats when my Pops found out he had 3 younger siblings.

Same thing happened to my brother in law. He was a kid when he got bit, and was under the impression that the money was in a trust he would get access to when he turned 18. shyt hit the fan when he found out that the money was long gone before he turned 18.

• My maternal Grandfather had an affair with his stepdaughter (my Aunt) when she was 17, which lead to my Uncle/Cousin hybrid. My Grandmother stuck by his side for another 10 or so years. Just a reminder: when kats go on about how black relationships were so much better back then, take into account that oftentimes, the women put up with some downright grimy shyt that they damn near were forced to by their families / social dogma.

• I'm fairly certain that my older sister is a thottie and drove off her husband of 6 years by cheating on him. Dude was a quiet, chill person.

• I had the money to pay for my Grandmother's funeral in full, but couldn't bring myself to do so because I personally feel that funerals are a giant waste of fukking money. I'm not paying $5K just to formally have my damn grandma lowered into the dirt in a wooden box that costs no more than $300-500 dollars to build.

Are you from the South? Doing genealogy, I see this a lot especially in small southern towns where the black families been there for generations. You end up marrying into many of those same families and everybody is "cousin's" in some way or another.

I been cool with a nikka and his family for 20 years from Millington,small town north of Memphis.
He's been warned not to date in that town.
When we were younger, If he was tryin to see someone in that town he had to check with the oldheads to make sure they wasnt related.
